Valentines Day Look with Osmosis Colour+Cosmetics!

Though I don’t have someone I would consider a traditional Valentine, I am going out to dinner with friends. For my Valentines look, I don’t want the usual smoky eye or bold red lip, instead, I’m choosing a soft, romantic look all with products from Osmosis +Colour line.

I started my look with the Osmosis +Colour Performance Wear Satin Foundation (reviewed here), then moved on to the Contour Duo in lustrous ($42). I love this particular contour duo because the bronzer is matte and the highlighter is a beautiful shimmery champagne that is subtle, not blinding which makes it perfect for us over 40 beauties. I finished off the face with this incredible Pink Pearl Blush ($27). Mineral pigments reflect light to create a soft-focus effect, illuminating your features while minimizing the appearance of imperfections. Green tea extract neutralizes free radicals while moringa seed oil hydrates and nourishes. This pretty pinky peach blush is matte but has mica in the formula so it has a lovely sheen to it as well as Vitamins A and C boost to firmness and elasticity. This mineral blush has quickly become a favorite specifically for the way it brightens and softens my face. It comes in 9 lovely shades.

Like I said I’m going with a soft look and using Osmosis +Colour Water Color High Intensity Loose  Eyeshadows ($20) in Opal, a pretty creamy vanilla and Azure, a gorgeous Mermaid Green. You know how I feel about loose eyeshadows, but I was willing to give these a try only because I’ve never tried a bad product from the Osmosis brand. These loose shadows are finely milled with vibrant pigments that won’t crease or fade. Infused with antioxidant-rich goji berry and green tea extracts, it hydrates, conditions and protects your delicate eyelids. I was stunned at how easy these were to use. I wet a flat brush with setting spray and applied Opal to my lids and Azure in the crease and outer corner. There was no chunky glitter or dense particles to fall into my eyes–in fact, there was almost no fallout. I’m sure the wet brush helped in that regard. I also brought Azure under the lower lash line and then lined my upper lash line and water line with the Osmosis +Colour Eye Pencil in black ($25). This pencil is super creamy, long lasting and glides on delicate eyes. I followed with the Volumizing Mascara in black ($25).

I applied Osmosis +Colour Lipstick ($25) in First Kiss, a beautiful peachy pink. This lipstick is so creamy and it’s filled with emollient oils and antioxidants, you don’t have to worry about your color drying out. Available in 8 pretty shades. I topped that with Lip Glaze ($18) in Flirt, a sheer medium pink. Lip Glaze has a glossy, high shine finish, the Lipstick delivers opaque color, neither are sticky.

And ta-dah the finished look!
