Top 10 Spring/Summer Nail Polishes!

This week’s Top 10 is all about tips and toes. While I like the vampy shades of fall and winter, I LOVE the pastels of spring and the brights of summer! Since I only do a mani every other week, I might not have much to show you on my nails, but I have lots on my wishlist!

Lolly Brights

butterLONDON’s Lolly Brights (reviewed here) are a great place to start for a joyful summer mani. Lolly is a bright hot pink with beautiful subtle shimmer. Stroppy is metallic grape with red, pink and blue flecks and Sozzled is a Kelly green cream that reminds me of the golf course.  If blue is your color, you’ll love Airy Fairy.

butterLONDON Molly Coddled (reviewed here) is a fabulous Pantone color of year Radiant Orchid shade. It looks like a cool lavender/orchid but it manages to suit my warmer skin tone too. It’s a very fun, feminine, spring shade and reminds me of pastel colored Easter eggs. The formula is a cream with opaque coverage. It covers beautifully in two coats, some may even be able to get away with one. I love to wear this!

Urban Decay has two extremely limited edition bold nail colors I’m dying for! Bang, a bright coral and Chaos, a rich cobalt blue ($15). These ultra-sophisticated and decadent (and very UD) colors feature complex shade work, super-rich pigments and dynamic micro-sparkle. Both shades look awesome on fingers and toes!

Let’s not forget my second favorite summer nail color–turquoise (my #1 being Coral ‘natch). How about Deborah Lippman Video Killed the Radio Star – bombdiggity blue ($18) to remind you of ocean waves.  And who could resist the lively luminous lemon, Walking On Sunshine?  Truthfully, I want the entire Deborah Lippman Summer Collection--it’s so chock full ‘o fun!

Nails, Inc. Spring/Summer Collection ($25) captures two top nail trends; brights and neutrals. From pale pink to neon aqua to peach, these six catwalk-inspired hues are formulated with the latest technologies to create a highly pigmented, ultraglossy, long-lasting finish. They are easy to apply and offer a smooth, even application for a flawless look. The set contains: his set contains: Colville Mews (pale nude), Little George Street (dusky pale blue), William Street (bright aqua), Princes Gate (pale pink), Bruton Lane (peach) and Sloane Street (neon pink).

Looking for something a tad more sophisticated? Try Lancôme Vernis in Love in Golden Riveria ($15) from the French Riveria Collection. Marine Chic and the vivid Nuit Dazur and equally stunning.
