This weeks Top 10 Tuesday has our bloggers showcasing their favorite makeup palettes. I absolutely LOVE palettes and since eyeshadow is my makeup drug of choice, you will be seeing a lot of eyeshadow palettes in this post. One reason I like palettes so much is the value they provide–you get more bang for your buck than buying each item individually. Another reason is that everything is coordinated for me and that really helps when I’m pressed for time, which is always! Palettes are not only for eyeshadows though–there are also lip, blush and face palettes. I’ m really excited to see what the rest of our bloggers chose, they never fail to make me add something to my wishlist!
My favorite palettes in no particular order:
Urban Decay Shattered Face Case – from the Urban Decay Holiday 2013 collection. This is one of those lives-in-my-bag palettes. It has 5 eyeshadows, 2 blushes, a highlighter, black eyeliner and a lip crayon. What else do you need? See my full review here.
tarte Aqualillies Amazonian Clay Waterproof Eye and Cheek Palette – this palette is fabulous! The quality is fantastic, the fact that it’s waterproof is awesome. Perfect for a bronzed look and for travel too! See my full review here.
bareMinerals The Power Neutrals Ready 8.0 Eyeshadow Palette – a great palette of amped up neutrals that are truly neutral–not too warm or cool toned. The bareMinerals quality is present and $40 for 8 great eye shadows is a fab bargain. Limited Edition, see my full review here.
SENNA Cosmetics Haute Nudes Mystic Palette – gorgeous powder colors perfectly coordinated and set in a sleek mirrored compact. Six shimmer and velvet matte eye colors light-up, shade and smoke the eyes. One soft sheer matte blush and one luminous highlighter make skin look radiant. Three pro mini brushes let you create any look you like at any time. Each palette contains one Get the Look Booklet that illustrates how to achieve two looks with one palette.
Dolce and Gabanna Fabulous Eyeshadow Quad – a unique combination of shades with exceptional quality and packaged beautifully. These shades mix warm and cool, soft and sexy for a myriad of eye looks. Read the full review here.
Too Faced Boudoir Eyes Palette – The quality of the shadows is outstanding, the mix of matte, shimmer and micro-glitter is just right and the palette has a thoughtful mix of shades. From sexy to work appropriate, this palette has you covered. Read the full review here.
