This week you’re getting a peek into our bloggers purses and most likely their makeup bags as well. I’m really excited about my new Rebecca Minkoff bag so lets start there!
This is my first high-end bag and I purchased it from Shopbop. I wanted something classic that I could wear for years to come so I chose a satchel in black with gold hardware.
Now for a look inside. Besides the essentials–phone, keys, tissues, sunglasses, wallet, etc. Here are a few things I carry with me.
My Kindle Fire. I have tons of magazines and books loaded and I take it work to read on my lunch hour. I especially like to take it to bed and read my favorite blogs or whatever book I’m reading before bed. By the way beauties, I’m reading a really great book right now. It’s called A Husband’s Secrets by Liane Moriarty. Don’t be fooled by the title, it’s not a soap opera but a well written novel about three women and how their lives intersect.
My makeup bag (this one from Ipsy), holds:
a mirror from Sephora
tarte Maracuja Creaseless Concealer
Lancôme Baume In Love, full review here
Estee Lauder Mad Men Lipstick in Pinkadelic, full review here
Tocca rollerball in Graciella–I like having a perfume for touchups
Too Faced Lip Insurance–a fabulous base to apply lipstick. It prevents lipstick from feathering and smooths out lines
tarte Waterproof Gliding Liner in Black Magic–it’s almost a LAW to carry a black eyeliner for eye emergencies, right?
Manna Kadar Gloss Ware in Nibble–I got this in my Wantable Makeup Box (review here), it’s a beautiful sheer pink that smells like vanilla
Le Metier de Beaute Lip Creme in Mum’s The Word–the perfect bright pink gloss for summer. I guess I should put it away for the winter but I love it too much!
Dior travel mirror–one side is regular, one side magnifying. Pretty sure this was a GWP from a long time ago.
Söfft mini nail files. These are small but very nice–one side is a file, the other a buffer. Having a nail file at hand is really handy!
Michael Marcus Nail Polish in Geisha Girl also from my Wantable Makeup Subscription Box review here
BECCA Blotting Powder Perfector in Translucent–I cannot be without this! Whether you use this as a blotting, finishing or touch-up powder, it’s perfect for all. It even comes in it’s own convenient pouch! Read the full review here.
Stur is all natural water enhancer that has me enjoying water! I love all the flavors and keep one in my purse so I can use it in my water at restaurants. Read the full review here.
And finally, my current rotation of lipsticks and glosses that live in a pocket in my bag
