The Makeup Eraser: A Must Have Beauty Tool!

Press Sample

The Makeup Eraser ($20) is a reusable, washable, makeup-removing face washcloth for all skin types. Free of chemicals, this makeup remover cloth gets rid of all types of makeup, including stage, sports, and theatrical makeup–even stubborn waterproof eye makeup. This thing is incredible! Just wet with warm water and erase your makeup in seconds!  And.. this baby holds up through 1,000 machine and/or hand washings! I throw mine in the laundry once a week.

It’s become so popular there is a Jumbo version ($40) a mini version ($12), a mini set of 3 ($28) in fun colors and a makeup brush eraser set of 2 gloves ($30).

I have both the original and the mini which is perfect for travel. Honestly, I don’t want to be without them. I think it works better than micellar water for eye makeup–no raccoon eyes. Trust! The fabric is a soft polyester so it doesn’t tug or pull at the delicate eye area. It does not collect odor or bacteria like a regular scratchy wash cloth either! For waterproof or really stubborn eye makeup, I make sure to use warm water and let the cloth rest against my eyes before I start rubbing.

While I don’t advocate for using this every day, it sure is nice for when you’re just too tired to go through all the steps of your nightly routine or for travel. I also think it’s great to have a no-chemical option for removing your makeup.

Right now until August 31st, on the Makeup Eraser website, if you spend $50 you get a Makeup Bundle that includes 1 makeup eraser, 1 Amplilash mascara duo, 1 bath bomb candy 4 pack and 1 makeup applicator FREE!

Bottom Line: The Makeup Eraser is a must have! I have gifted my daughter and almost friend I know with one and they all love it!

I got the mini in one of my subscription boxes and I do like using it. I think the regular size one would be easier to use though. I’m making a list for a very long trip I’m going on and I should include this.

  • polarbelle

do you find that the mini is a slightly different texture than the full sized? I feel like mine are different from each other.

    • No really. I have the mini much longer so it’s been through the wash lots of times.

  • I have yet to try these, I can’t wrap my head around getting my skin clean with just water on a cloth.

    • Oh my gosh, get one, they really work!! I do use a micellar water after but the Makeup Eraser is way better than makeup wipes!

  • I’ve seen these used a fair bit but I’m yet to try one. I actually don’t know if it’s stocked in Australia.

  • Phyrra Nyx
