Question of the Week: On average, how often do you make impulse beauty purchases? What type of product is your biggest weakness? Actually since I’ve had the blog, I make less impulse purchases than I used to. I most often am distracted at the drugstore and will pick up impulse items there.

  1. I usually think things out and nowadays look for reviews and swatches. But alas! I can be very impulsive with those little displays that showcase new products. I’ll buy all kinds of stuff, from blushes to lipsticks, especially if the packaging is cute and the color is PINK!

    Lipstick lipstick lipstick!!! It’s always a lip product for me because there is something so satisfying about opening the package for the first time, twirling up the beautiful bullet of color, and applying it to your lips. Maybe it has something to do with engaging all 5 of the senses: Smell (Bobbi Brown’s glosses and the light vanilla scent), taste, vision (all the pretty shades!!!), hearing (that satisfying click of a pricey lipstick…), and touch (the soothing feel as it sweeps over your lips, the weight of the case in your hand).
