Let’s face it, we’re over 40. We have fine lines, crows feet and wrinkles around our eyes. While I do believe these wrinkles are the sign of a happy life, that doesn’t mean I want to look like a Shar-Pei. YBF (Your Best Face) Skincare may have come up with a solution in the form of Correct eye cream. Billed by YBF as the “ultimate end-all-be-all eye cream,” it has a lot to live up to. I’ve tried several products from the line–Prep, Antioxidant Concentrate and Define Lip Area Anti-Aging Cream and truly have not been disappointed in any of them. YBF owners, Kimberely and Darrell take great pride in their ingredients and formulations and it is evident in the efficiency of their products.
Correct is formulated with some serious ingredients designed to combat dark circles, fine lines, wrinkles and puffiness. A concentrated cocktail of the latest age-fighting peptides helps to smooth the skin, plump up existing wrinkles and prevent new ones from appearing. The addition of the award-winning puffy-eye-fighting-peptide Eyeseryl, instantly reduces bags and puffiness. A trio of brighteners including alpha arbutin, Haloxyl and licorice root extract battle dark circles and the signs of fatigue. Another important ingredient is something called spin trap–dubbed the “intelligent antioxidant,”it transforms skin damaging free radical activity into productive regenerative activity by trapping and detoxifying free radicals. Translated this means rejuvenating skin repairing and protective properties for aging skin!
I love the texture of Correct; it a lightweight almost gel consistency that absorbs with no greasy feeling but still hydrates all day. It absorbs so well, in fact you may think it’s disappeared, but just touch your under eye area and feel how soft and smooth it feels. It will not interfere with your concealer but let it dry for a few minutes before applying. I have a fairly deep wrinkle on my left eye and after applying Correct, it isn’t gone, but visibly softened and less noticeable. Every morning, I wake up with a substantial set of luggage under my eyes and correct decreases the puffiness almost instantly. An added bonus is the calming scent of almond and nutmeg.
