Stages of Beauty: Skincare At Every Age + a Giveaway!!

Ever wonder why the skincare products you used to love just are cutting it anymore? STAGES  of  BEAUTY  may have the answer. STAGES  of  BEAUTY is a brand spankin’ new skincare line that launched in January of this year. The idea is both simple and innovative–a skincare line devoted to addressing the changing needs of a woman’s skin throughout her life.  STAGES  of  BEAUTY was created by Jasmina Aganovic, an MIT-trained Chemical & Biological Engineer.  Passionate about skincare, she saw that few brands actually catered to all of our skin’s anti-aging needs throughout life.  Biological changes happen like clockwork; however, most skincare brands fail to consider age in their formulations. As a result, our skin falls short of its absolute best. STAGES  of  BEAUTY understands that we’re fighting against more than wrinkles! Many other changes are occurring, like increased sun sensitivity (triggering sun spots and spider veins), dulling complexion, and thinning and thirsty skin—just to name a few.

Sooo, STAGES  of  BEAUTY is broken into four separate skincare systems with formulations to address those specific issues facing each decade of our lives.  In each system is a ‘core’ of must- haves for every age which include moisturization and up-to-date delivery technology to ensure the ingredients get to where they need to be. Each system is composed of three products; a cleanser, scrub and treatment cream. Each decade has a separate name for the products in that particular line. I’m not going to go into detail for the 20’s & 30’s but rather concentrate on the 40’s & 50’s+

RADIANCE  in your 20’s -provides environmental protection

HARMONY in your 30’s – provides deep hydration and helps deal with beginning fine lines and wrinkles

ELEGANCE in your 40’s – the skin begins to thin and become dryer, leading to a loss of elasticity. There is also an increase in sensitivity, as demonstrated by more freckles, sun spots and spider veins.  The Elegance anti-aging line provides overall hydration and calming properties to help skin regain its elasticity, tone and firmness.

Key ingredients include:

  • Tetra Peptide 17 – helps stimulate elastin and collagen production
  • Sodium Hyaluronate – helps maintain a high moisture level
  • Amino Acid Complex – helps stimulate, repair and protect skins DNA

Darling packaging!

Cute AND responsible!

GRACE in your 50’s+ – hormonal changes send the skin into overdrive making it even drier and thinner. Wrinkles gain definition, pores become larger, and the skin’s immunity decreases. The Grace anti-aging line provides ultimate hydration while balancing the effects of hormones and helping to restore the skin’s surface immunity, firmness and elasticity.

Key ingredients include:

  • Sorgum Extract – acts on the surface of the skin and provides an immediate tightening effect, reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
  • Custom Peptide Blend – helps stimulate the production of collagen and elastin
  • Chinese Botanical Blend – acts to increase the surface immunity of the skin

I’ve been using the GRACE treatment cream for probably a month now and I like it very much. The one aspect of the cream I’m most impressed with is that it’s rich and emollient without being the slightest bit greasy. I can use GRACE for my day and night cream since I get no oily breakthrough midday and that’s a concern for me. Some creams are so rich, my makeup ends up sliding off my forehead by lunchtime and I hate that! Seriously, this cream absorbs better than any other I’ve tried to date, and it makes my skin feel as soft and supple as my mother’s old leather church gloves. My mother had a pair of white (now yellowed with age) leather gloves with pearl buttons that she sometimes wore to church or weddings and my skin feels smooth and velvety just like those graceful broken in gloves.  I have to admit, I noticed the greatest difference when I quit using GRACE to test another line. In fact, my skin got very dry with the new line and I’ve gone back to GRACE Treatment Cream to bring some much needed hydration back to my skin. This to me, this is verification that a product works!

STAGES  of  BEAUTY is dermatologist tested, 100% fragrance free and suitable for sensitive skin.  Products are formulated without sulfates, synthetic dyes, parabens, petrochemicals, phthalates,  or GMO’s.

Good skincare doesn’t come cheap beauties, but STAGES  of  BEAUTY is making it a little easier on our wallets by offering Prime Beauty readers a special discount! Enter the code PRIMEBEAUTY at checkout for 20% off any purchase! Keep reading…

What I love about my age (29) is that sometimes, just sometimes I still get carded for crazy things like… GAS!!?!? Crazy!!! But hey, thanks mom. And Stages of Beauty can only help me stay looking younger for a much longer time.

  9. The best thing about my age (50’s) is that while my nest is empty, my husband and I are falling in love all over again.

  17. Thanks for the giveaway! What I like about being 56 is that I am finally an empty nester and I can spend my spare time doing what I want…not what my children’s schedules require!

  18. My favorite thing about my age (50) is that to some people it’s still young, so they are kind of envious that I still have a ways to go…and yet, younger people seem impressed because to them it’s “old” but I look and act younger. I guess that’s called Middle Age!

  19. My favorite thing about being in the 30’s crowd is I’ve pretty much been there done that with most things, so I don;t feel the pressure to fit in or be something I’m not anymore!

  24. This year, I am 42. To most folks that doesn’t mean anything significant.

To those of my tribe, though (the geeks), this year I am The Answer to Life, The Universe, and Everything 😀's_Guide_to_the_Galaxy)#Deep_Thought

(I’m genetically lucky: in my early 40s, I look like I’m in my early or mid 30s – and I know, from looking at my mom, that I’ll continue to look about a decade younger at least through my early 60s. I thank genetics for a good chunk of that; but I’ve also used sunscreen daily ever since I was a teen. I’m sure that’s helped a bit. 😀 )

    • Me too LiAnn–I been told many, many times I look 10 years younger–my mother always did and my much older brother and sister still do. My mom passed away last year at 89 and looked 75–hardly any wrinkles. I have to watch out for sagging now–Oye Vey!

  34. My favorite thing about my age is that I am old enough to have insight and wisdom and freedom from pressure to be anything other than ME, but still young enough to have fun (!) and benefit from the blessing of my parents and grandmother still being there in my life. 🙂 It is a good place to be. Thank you for this great giveaway! I follow you (and read everyday!) on RSS feed.

  41. I’m 60 and what I appreciate about my age is that, humbly speaking, I’m
mature enough to have some wisdom and young enough to keep

  42. What I like best about my age 51: That wonderful & unexpected things still happen (I’m a widow who is about to be remarried) and you appreciate them more. You’ve learned to handle the hard times in life with faith & grace. You treasure your friends & family AND you gain the self confidence to laugh at yourself….when you do something stupid, ridiculous….those “DUH” moments instead of cringing.

  43. Suzanne Carter says:

At 56, I like that I don’t take everything so personally now. Had to learn this in many, many hard lessons.

  44. The best thing about being in my 40s is getting to be wise enough about the things & people that matter, and those that don’t!

  48. Thanks for such a great review, PB. The best thing about being in my 40s is finally knowing who I am and being able to relax about it.

  49. The best thing about being 47 is that I’m not afraid to speak my mind! I used to be so timid and afraid of calling attention to myself. Not anymore!

  50. styleezta says:

I’m 31 and I finally know who I am and what I want in life 🙂

  51. What a beautiful line. They really have their packaging and ingredients down. What I like best about my age is that I don’t look quite as old as I am!

  52. I am 48 and I raised my kids myself. They are grown and off doing their thing. While I see them once a month and talk weekly to them, I am in between children and grand children, while I love my boys its nice to have the “me” time. Hopefull I don’t sound too selfish.

    • Absolutely not! I feel the same way–my daughter just left home a few months ago and while I miss her, it’s nice to have time for myself! I’m sure you deserve your me time!!

  53. Sherry B. says:

At 57, I have finally found out who I really am, and I actually quite like me!
