Formulated without formaldehyde, toluene, and dibutyl phthalate, Le Métier de Beauté Nail Lacquers are long-lasting, chip-resistant and have the most beautiful and unique shades. These lovely sets will be sold exclusively at Neiman Marcus, but don’t wait too long, I did and missed out on the fall Silk Road set (Marcia has a great review at Beauty Info Zone).  I can’t think of a more ideal gift for my fashionable girlfriends or for stocking stuffers!
updated: the names of the collection and colors were changed from my original post

As for me, I did my mani this week with Midnight Rendevous from this summer’s Rock n’ Romance collection; a Nordstrom Anniversary Exclusive from back in July.

Midnight Rendezvous It is a deep blue just short of navy with subtle silver and blue sparkle–I’ve been saving it for fall and now I can wear it!

The entire collection consists of:

  • Chrome Passion: a chocolate charcoal with sultry shimmer
  • Heat of the Night: a passionate black cherry
  • Midnight Rendezvous: a shimmering, steely midnight blue
  • True Romance: a delicate pale rose with a subtle metallic nude finish

My bottle of Midnight Rendezvous had some issues. The brush was stuck together and made it difficult to apply the polish. I needed to clean it with nail polish remover to get it unstuck–even so it made the polish apply streaky and uneven. Despite those issues, which incidentally were not present in the other colors, the color is stunning. I can’t stop looking at my nails!
