Tempt Me is part of the Smashbox Love Me Spring 2013 line. The collection was created in collaboration with street artist Curtis Kullig, with his signature print decorating both the packaging and the cosmetic products themselves. I reviewed the Entice Me Eye Shadow Palette from the line and my friend Marcia from Beauty Info Zone reviewed the Admire Me Eye Shadow Palette.
Tempt Me Be Legendary Lipstick ($19) is a bright coral opaque shade that I’m really digging for spring. It brightens up the face and has a juicy, glossy finish. The pigment is great and it when the gloss wears off, you’re left with a pretty stain. One coat will render sheer coverage and two will get you to medium. This coral does have a lot of pink in so depending on your skin tone it can pull more pink or more coral. On my warm skin, it’s definitely coral but I can see where on cooler skin it could look pinker.
The formula is creamy and is packed with moisture with Vitamins C, E and shea butter. lasting power is very good.
The packaging is inspired by graffiti–the lipstick bullet itself has the words “Love Me’ embedded in it and on the outside of the gunmetal square cube Smashbox written in red cursive–very cute and edgy.
Are you a coral fan? Have you tried Smashbox lipsticks?
