Sephora by OPI Metro Chic

I did somethingÂ revolutionary last week. While browsing in Sephora looking to spend the last $6 on a gift card, I tried to stay within that price range! This is a new concept to me. I usually spend waaaaay more than the gift card is worth and end up not feeling the value of the card. This time I was determined not to buy something over $10. This lead me to the Sephora by OPI nail polish rack where polishes are $9 and I found Metro Chic. I was intrigued with the lavender- grayish-taupe creme. Sephora describes it as dark smoke with a hint of purple–yeah, I’ll go with that. One coat and the lavender stands out, a second coat and it definitely looks more taupe grey. I only realized after wearing this how popular it has become; it sold out of Sephora almost immediately after it’s debut and I read on a nail polish blog that people are paying upwards of $55 for Metro Chic on Ebay, that’s crazy!
