Sally Hansen Updated French Manicure

The classic French manicure was picking up popularity again recently. Adding an extra stripe of color or switching out the colors is a way of modernizing it while making it feel less ironic and more current. With gray tones trending as well this example blends both trends into one easy to wear look.
A beautiful manicure starts with maintaining healthy nails. This is especially important when the nail look incorporates negative space like this Updated French. Sally Hansen’s Big Cuticle Oil provides much needed moisture for ragged nail beds. This quick-absorbing formula leaves cuticles, and nails, deeply hydrated, soft and healthy-looking while helping to defend against harsh, drying environmental elements faced daily. The formula is enriched with Coconut, Apricot Kernel oils plus Vitamin E.Nail Rehab fills ridges and conceals damage making it perfect for applying before a negative space manicure and defends against breaking tearing and peeling.
See below for a step-by-step guide on how to create the Updated French look at home!
Step 1:  Paint a coat of Sally Hansen Nail Rehab on clean bare nails a day before creating the nail look
Step 2:  Remove Sally Hansen Nail Rehab before beginning the nail look. Use a striping brush to paint the 1st stripe just below the tip of the nail with Sally Hansen Miracle Gel in Buffalo Nickel
Step 3: Paint a second tip with Sally Hansen Miracle Gel  in Greyfetti using a striping brush
Step 4:  Apply a coat of Sally Hansen Miracle Gel top coat
Step 5: After allowing the nails to dry apply Sally Hansen Big Cuticle Oil around the nail bed and massage into the skin

I love the look of a French mani with traditional and non-traditional colors, but my hand shakes when I have to do the stripe. I need to get some more tape and try it again. Those greys are very cool.
