For quite some time I admit I’ve been slightly totally jealous of some of my blogger friends. They’ve been raving about Sue Devitt’s Eye Intensifier Pencils ($22) and I was in the dark, never having tried them. I hate being out of the loop and colored eyeliners are kinda my thang.
I have high ecpectations for my eyeliners. They need to be smooth and creamy so they don’t drag on my older eyelids, waterproof so they don’t run during allergy season, smudge-proof so I don’t get racoon eyes, and long lasting so they last from 7 am to 7 pm.
In this case, Sue Devitt Eye Intensifier Pencils pass the mustard! These chubby pencils are velvety smooth and literally glide on my lids. I was a little worried I wouldn’t be able to get a thinner line since they are so thick and chunky, but I can make a thinner liner by turning them on the side. Ceramide 2, Hyaluronic Filling Spheres and Nylon-12 anti-aging ingredients lock in moisture without creasing! The Eye Intensifier Pencil can also be used as a shadow for a quick look with minimal blending. I’m really keen on the smudger tip–it’s an added bonus that makes doing a smoky eye easy-peasy.
Perhaps even better than the quality and texture are the 13 gorgeous colors that Sue Devitt offers in the Eye Intensifier Pencils.
I tried Victoria Falls, a deep sapphire blue and Laos, a shimmery gold/bronze. These two shades are amaz-balls people! Victoria Falls is a deep blue that will intensify any eye color. I was surpised it looked as nice as it did against my blue eyes–I think it will look even better on brown and hazel eyes. Laos is a stunning shimmery (but not glittery) goldish bronze that can be subtle or more dramatic depending on the application. Laos looks incredible on blue eyes!
If these shades don’t excite you, there are 11 other colors to tempt you:
- Pointe-Noire - black
- Kenya - dark brown
- Tanzania - shimmering tan
- Kalahari – sheer gray
- Gold Reef -chocolate sheen
- Zaire - shimmering plum
- Bangalore - shimmer-khaki green
- Surat - shimmering deep bronze
The rich pigmentation, smooth and velvety texture and dazzling shades earn Sue Devitt Eye Intensifier Pencils a Prime Beauty All Star and a Grade of A!

One of my friends wears nothing else. She is so in love with these pencils.
I have one of these and it’s totally fabulous. I love that it comes with a smudger. For me anymore, I’d rather have a pencil with a smudger on one end so I can do what I want with my liner than have an automatic liner. And these LAST!! Welcome to the club, lol.
I like the look of Laos!
