Thymes may not be a highly recognized name in perfume, but it should be! Their candles and home fragrances are more well known but I’m here to tell you the bath and body and fragrance products are worth a long look! The top notch quality and delicious scents will keep me coming back for sure!
Thymes Filigree eau de parfum is light, crisp and feminine. It exudes elegance and grace. Intricate layers of rich amber, juniper berry, warm cedarwood, and neroli harmonize to enhance the wearer’s individual style. The unexpectedly cool aromas of spearmint and lavender cast a fresh note, and spices such as ginger and clove dominate the fragrance’s heart. A favorite of many, and here for a limited time only! This scent is so beloved when Thymes discontinued it, customers demanded they bring it back and I certainly see why. 3.25 fl. oz. retails for $60 at Thymes.com. This is definitely going to be one of my signature scents. Read my review of Thymes Filigree Body Lotion here.
TOCCA Graciella eau de parfum pays homage to the unparalleled beauty and sophistication of Grace Kelly. This beautifully lush and floral scent is as unforgettable as its muse. Notes:
- Top Notes: Bitter Orange, Asian Pear, Watery Apricot
- Middle Notes: Casablanca Lily, Ylang Ylang from Comoros Islands, Karma Fleur, Rose de Mai
- Bottom Notes: Creamy Iris, Cashmere Musk, Benzoin from Laos
I adore all of the TOCCA fragrances and I didn’t think anything could top my lovely Bianca but Graciella has surpassed her. The scent is chic and refined yet has an old-world feel with the lovely packaging. The graceful curves of the bottle and the bronze lid adorned with vines looks like it should be on the dressing table in a French villa . A 1.7 oz., bottle retails for $68. Tip: If you never tried TOCCA fragrances, I urge you to. Skincare Rx has a TOCCA Beauty Eau de Parfum Viaggio--a trio of mini sizes of Colette, Guilietta & Bianca for $48. There is also a TOCCA Love Yourself Collection Sampler with 6 sample size spray vials which include Eau de Parfum Spray in Cleopatra, Stella, Florence, Giulietta, Graciella and Violette for only $18 at Sephora. This makes a nice little stocking stuffer–shhhh I got one for my daughter’s stocking!
Valentino ‘Valentina’ Fragrance Set – A distinctive elegance, mixing Parisian chic and Italian glamour with timeless femininity and sublime beauty. Valentina blends Calabrian bergamot and white Alba truffle with jasmine, Amalfi orange blossom and wild strawberries to captivate the sensuality of a classic yet modern feminine fragrance. I sniffed this in Nordstrom and was instantly enamoured. Some of my favorite notes, bergamot, orange blossom and jasmine give this scent a flirty, girly vibe but the the truffle grounds it making it less girly and much more sophisticated and tasteful. The bottle is stylish and grown-up too. The floral embellishments are made of resin (?) anyway–definitely chic and classy and not something that will fall apart. The set includes an eau de parfum spray (2.7 oz.) and Satin Floral Body Lotion (6.8 oz.) for $108.
Elie Saab ‘Le Parfum’ eau de Toilette – This fall, famed Lebanese couturier Elie Saab reveals a bold new Eau de Toilette version of his highly successful 2011 debut fragrance – ELIE SAAB Le Parfum. Like a precious jewel in a graceful new setting, sparkling facets of Mandarin tree blossom, gardenia and vetiver blend harmoniously with warm honey rose to make Elie Saab’s eau de toilette offering every bit as addictive as the original. The exceptional in the everyday. The original Elie Saab is a departure from the light, wispy scents above and is something I envision a strong career woman might wear. Elie Saab is a little sassier than the previous flirty scents and a bit more serious. The eau de toilette is a has a bit more citrus and is slightly more refreshing. Whereas the above scents may be flirty, this has a decidedly more sensual feel. The bottle is more slender that the original but still resembles sculpted crystal. 1.6 oz. retails for $75 and the 3 oz. size for $105.
