no!no! PRO Hair Removal Device!

You may have heard of no!no!® hair removal products on TV infomercials. I did and have always been curious about this seemingly easy hair removal system so when I was offered the chance to try the device, I jumped at it.

no!no!® PRO ($249) is the only at-home hair removal device with patented Advanced Thermicon Technology that not only removes the hair but treats it for smooth results that last with continued use. This technology uses the scientific principles of thermal transference. Gentle heat glides over the skin removing stubble from the surface while simultaneously treating the hair for long-lasting results. Thermicon has built-in safety mechanisms that enable no!no! to adapt professional hair removal technology for safe and effective home use. It works on the face, arms, legs and body for men and women. I hate shaving–I’m not good at it as evidenced by the many scars on my legs and a bathroom full of band-aids. Electric shavers (do they even make them anymore?) don’t produce a close shave and I’ve heard epilators hurt, so I had high hopes for no!no! I’m happy to report that this is the fastest, easiest and least painless way I’ve ever tried to removed unwanted hair.

Your no!no! PRO can be purchased for $249 or 3 payments of $83.33 at www.officialnono.com in blue, pink or platinum. It includes:

  • no!no!® PRO Device
  • 1 Narrow Thermicon® Tip
  • 1 Wide Thermicon® Tip
  • 1 Large Buffer
  • 1 Travel Case
  • Cleansing Brush
  • Charger
  • User Manual

My no!no! came in this cute silver travel case with elastic straps to hold the device as well as a pocket for the charger, buffer, tips and cleaning brush.

There are 4 easy steps to get started:

  • Choose your tip–wide for the body and narrow for the face
  • Set the treatment level
  • Glide on skin
  • Buff away treated hair

My Experience: I tried no!no! PRO on my arms where my hair is quite long but blonde and on my face. It was much easier on my arms than my face only because there aren’t any curves or hard to reach places. It does require a bit of practice to get it right but once you get the hang of it (just a few times) it is so quick, easy and painless! Tip: it helps to pull the skin tight to create a smooth straight surface in some areas on the face. The company recommends starting with your arms or legs before moving onto the face and I wholeheartedly agree, you will find the correct pressure when you don’t have to navigate around curves and such.

Touch/Feel: The no!no! PRO is completely painless. I did feel a warm sensation at times that is not uncomfortable at all. If however, you are sensitive to the temp, lower the treatment level. My biggest problem was keeping the device engaged in areas like my chin and jawline. You must glide the device in the direction of the status screen only and not go too fast or too slow. There was a learning curve for me in terms of getting the speed of the glide right. At first, I was pressing too hard until I let the roller do the gliding and stopped trying to get the tip to my face. Then it was not only comfortable but it worked much better. You may need to go over an area more than once and that’s okay, but do NOT move back and forth.

Smell: Expect to smell the hair crystallizing as the device treats the hair. It smells like burning hair but honestly, it fades so quickly it doesn’t bother me. Don’t worry, if you smell something, it just means the device is working.

Sight: You know the tip and the device are engaged when the blue Thermicon light will light up. The front of the device shows the different treatment levels (there are 3) and the status of the battery. I started using the highest level and had no problems. If a red light appears it means the Thermicon Tip is improperly installed, damaged or depleted or the device needs to be charged.

Sound: You will hear a low humming sound as you glide across the treatment area.

Why is called no!no!? When compared to other hair removal options, no!no! is the only treatment where there are no side effects! This means:

  • No Pain
  • No Cuts
  • No Skin Irritation
  • No Pulling
  • No Scraping
  • No Mess
  • No Nicks
  • No Ingrown Hairs

To get rid of my facial peach fuzz, I had been using this small razor-type tool I got on HSN. The problem is that you have to go over the area several times to remove all hair, especially from the chin and upper lip and it makes those areas of my face red and sore.

And for the results! I knew I would be trying the no!no! out so I let my unwanted hair grow for a while to really give the device a challenge. I was on hormone replacement for many years so I probably have more hair on my face than the norm (lucky me).  These photos are not retouched or altered in any way–hell you can see my sun spots! Anyway, and I think the result is fabulous!

I think the no!no! PRO is especially good for us over 40 gals who may be experiencing fluctuating hormone levels which can cause hair growth.

Bottom Line: I’m so glad I got to try the no!no!PRO, I’m throughy impressed! It’s super easy to use, quick and painless but the best part is that with continued use hair will become thinner and finer. In the first few months use 2-3 times a week and with time you will only need to maintain. Plus, the full purchase of this product has a 30-day money-back guarantee!

I feel really lucky to have the no!no! PRO in my beauty arsenal and I’m a happy, hairless girl!
