Makeup artist and creative head makeup director, Tom Pecheux has given Estee Lauder’s Pure Color eye shadows a makeover! There are 48 new shades designed to compete with the more fashion-oriented lines like MAC, NARS and Makeup For Ever.
 ”Makeup is such a fashion accessory – I’d like to highlight that part of the brand, and also bring a playful touch to the franchise,” Pecheux said when he started at Lauder in November of 2009.
Following the new Pure Color Glosses that hit stores in June, the 48 new Pure Color Eye shadows will hit stores this month. There are four different finishes — matte, satin, luminous and metallic, all described as long-lasting, fade-resistant and buildable.
“I’ve always thought that eye shadow brings women self-confidence and power,” Pecheux told WWD. I agree Tom! Will you be trying any of the new Pure Color shadows?
I ordered a few of these…of course a taupe shade! I can’t wait!
