Straight off the runway, Make Up For Ever puts a modern spin on ‘vichy’- French for gingham. If you’ve read a few of my posts, you know I am a self professed girly girl. I am partial to flirty feminine clothes, makeup, accessories, and…. so on and so forth. Even though I am totally in touch in my inner child, I wouldn’t wear false eye lashes with pink gingham bows on them. Nevertheless, you can never go wrong with a little touch of pink on eyes, cheeks or lips. The MUFE Tres Vichy limited edition collection is comprised of:
Duo eye shadow palette ($31) – This fresh spring palette features two full size Diamond Shadows, Diamond White 301 (pearl white with chrome shimmer) and Diamond Pink 303 (cotton candy pink with shimmer). Diamond powder is a long-lasting and highly pigmented color for the eyelids and cheeks. Decorated in a 1960s inspired pink-and-white checkered pattern, the palette also includes a mirror, perfect for the girl on-the-go. I’m thinking these could be used for highlighters also.
Très Vichy Eyelashes ($19) – These faux lashes comes with the extra-special detail of a pink-and-white checkered bow on each lash strip. The lashes are designed with an extremely thin base that blends in with the natural lash line for subtle enhancement.
Star Powder Diamond Collection ($22) – This limited-edition collection is the perfect cocktail of the brand’s iconic loose powders. It combines the highly pigmented and intense color of Star Powder with the sparkling effect of Diamond Powder for a sparkling, radiant glow. Available in shimmering peachy pink and shimmering lime green.
I’m dying for the packaging, you say you beauties? Yay or nay?
