Between winter colds and spring allergies, I need a box of Kleenex in every room. Unfortunately with warmer weather comes pollen, grass and weeds all of which I am terribly allergic to. Itchy, watery eyes and a constant runny nose require lots of boxes of Kleenex, In the last 90 years, Kleenex has come a long way. They have created boxes in a variety of stylish designs and have even partnered with designer Issac Mizrahi to create 4 designs which are intended to evoke confidence and inspiration to help you express your personal style and step out of your comfort zone when it comes to incorporating the latest trends. Exclusively on the Kleenex style finder you can watch videos featuring Isaac Mizrahi where he provides his latest style advice and shares his own experience as a design leader for more than two decades. In honor of their 90th birthday, Kleenex has developed the Kleenex Style Studio where you can view new designs, play games and discover things about the brand you may not have known. Make sure to visit and take the style finder quiz (so fun!) to find out which style suits you and learn fun facts about the history of Kleenex– it’s really quite interesting and informative. For example, did you know that Kleenex has been in the Museum Of Modern Art twice or that Kleenex was originally promoted as a facial tissue to remove makeup? No wonder I’ve never used another brand! You all know of my obsessions with makeup and fashion but what you may not know is that extends to home decor as well. If I’m going to have a box of Kleenex in every room, they may as well fit into my decor, right? My bedroom has a Paris theme and is mostly black and white with a pop of bright turquoise to keep it interesting and unexpected. It all started with this lovely sophisticated black and white bedspread, then I found these awesome turquoise silk pillows with a black design and that was just the pop of color I needed. For this room, the Kleenex pattern “So Cool It Soothes” with it’s beautiful slightly metallic blue. These tissues have a cooling effect that I love; they help clear my sinuses and feel soothing to my raw nose.
My black and white theme extends into the master bath and when I learned that the new Issac Mizrahi designs were available I definitely wanted to check them out. Project Runway is my favorite TV show and I love Issac on that show, dahling. I’m thrilled that he teamed up with Kleenex so we can all have a designer touch in our homes. I chose this bright floral design to add a pop art effect to my bathroom, I love the way it looks!
The next room where I need tissues handy is the living room. The Kleenex box is so stylish it fits into my decor beautifully; the design is so modern and upscale. Can you spot the Kleenex box in my bookcase?
Here’s a closer look: this allows the Kleenex to always be close at hand to deal with my watery eyes and runny nose but it fits into my modern decor perfectly! This decorative tissue box is from the Ultra Soft line: the tissues are so soft they almost feel like cloth and they are super absorbent too!
