Lancome Visionnaire 1 Minute Blur: Erase Imperfections!

Lancome Visionairre Blur

Lancôme has THE quickest and easiest way to achieve flawless skin without botox and with no waiting! Lancôme’s Visionnaire 1 Minute Blur Smoothing Skincare Instant Perfector ($55) is a miracle worker on my fine lines and large pores! Sorry I don’t have my own pics, I was sent a advanced sample in a plain white tube.

You are probably tired of me preaching about the benefits of using a face primer when you reach the big 4-0, but truly, using a good primer is a game changer! As we age, pores become stretched and appear larger, the texture of our skin becomes uneven, fine lines and wrinkles make their nasty appearance and skin can look dull and lackluster. At 50 something, I suffer from all these common signs of aging.

Building on the success of Lancôme’s Visionnaire [LR 2412 4%] Advanced Skin Corrector, the brand’s original skin perfecting serum, the newest addition to the Visionnaire family makes it possible to get ideal looking skin instantly.

Lancome Visionnaire [1 Minute Blur] Smoothing Skincare Instant Perfector has cutting-edge optical blurring light diffusers that create instant gratification! There is a soft, blurring effect that delivers smoothing hydration for a flawless look. The blurring effect is due to the silicone elastomers; they also give a mattifying effect, while silica silylate helps control shine. Bismuth oxychloride and boron nitride help give skin a boost of instant radiance.

Lancôme doesn’t stop there: they are lot of anti-aging ingredients making this perfect for us over 40 gals. A combination of LHA, Vitamin CG, retinylpalmitate, and phytokine, not only instantly reduces the look of wrinkles and pores, but with continued use, the smoothing effect can help transform skin.

I love that this primer does NOT dry out my skin. If you have oily skin you probably don’t even need a moisturizer–I apply my Lancôme DreamTone (reviewed here), then my moisturizer and follow with 1 minute blur. The claims are true, it instantly blurs my pores making them appear smaller and my face looks smooth, even and the closest to perfection as I’m going to get. The first day I used Lancome Visionnaire [1 Minute Blur] Smoothing Skincare Instant Perfector I asked my harshest critic (my co-worker) if she saw a difference in my skin from the day before and she really was amazed at how “soft and smooth” my skin looked. She said it did not erase the wrinkles under my eyes or my crow’s feet (told you she was harsh) but she did say it was best my skin has looked EVER and trust me, I ask for her honest opinion often when I try new products.

This is all I look for in a primer and more. One of my biggest complaints about primers is that some of them don’t really “grab” foundation or the opposite–foundation slides off. Visionnaire [1 Minute Blur] keeps makeup fresh all day and imparts a lovely “soft focus” look to the skin. I also appreciate that it doesn’t ball up when applied over my moisturizer and feels VERY lightweight.

Lancôme says:

After four weeks of use:*

  •  67% of women saw fine lines and wrinkles appear reduced
  • 74% of noticed skin appeared more uniform
  • 76% of users found their complexion appeared more radiant
  • 85% said that skin texture appeared smoother

*Based on consumer evaluations in a 4 week study

I’ve only been using this primer for one week so I can’t speak to the long-term benefits, but I HAVE given up on all my other primers! It is allergy and dermatologist tested for even the most sensitive skin, and the non-comedogenic and non-acnegenic formula won’t clog pores.

Bottom Line: Lancome Visionnaire [1 Minute Blur] Smoothing Skincare Instant Perfector is on the pricey side, but you are getting a primer and skincare treatment in one and a tiny bit goes a long way. I use a pea size drop for my entire face. I really love the soft focus effect it gives me. Highly recommended!

  1. How does this compare to “blur” products from Garnier and L’Oreal Paris? All three brands are part of the L’Oreal group.

    • The L’Oreal Miracle Blur is much thicker and it tends to “ball up” over my moisturizer. To be honest, Garnier products have never worked for me.
