Lancome In Love Vernis Spring 2013

Yesterday I showed you how to look young and sassy with Lancome’s In Love Makeup Collection for Spring 2013. Now let’s concentrate on those tips and toes!

Vernis In Love ($15)
  • Peach Melodie-orange
  • Rose Macaron – fuchsia
  • Sugar Rose-pale pink
  • Midnight Rose-purple

I’ve been wearing Rose Macaron for a week now with no chips or wear on the tips–which says a lot because I basically type all day. I disagree that Rose Macaron is fuchsia–it’s a bright medium pink with a cream finish. This fun and flirty shade will look equally as good on nails as well as toes this spring and summer.

What really impressed me other than the great formula is the brush! It’s wider than most so it  covers the entire nail bed in one swipe. The pigmentation is fabulous–I’m sure you could get away with one coat but two is perfection. Dry time is quick and it so glossy you don’t even need a top coat!

Here are some great pictures of Peach Melodie from Perilously Pale

Here is Midnight Rose from Fierce Makeup and Nails, the winner of the Lancome Loves Nails contest. She also did the cutest nail art with Midnight Rose as the base!

What shade is your go to for spring and summer?

  1. Thanks so much for sharing my post on Midnight Rose! These colors are so fantastic for spring!

  2. I’ve never bought a Lancome polish but this looks gorgeous. I love a red polish especially now since it brightens up winter.

  3. Oooooh…These are gorgeous polish colors. I haven’t ever bought a Lancôme polish either, but one of these may be my first! I found a bunch of great nail ideas lately on the new 77 looks app that I downloaded at

Gonna use one of these colors for a new look!
