IT Cosmetics Is Pretty Smokin’!

The hits just keep coming from IT Cosmetics. If you read this blog regularly (and I hope you do) you know how I love IT Cosmetics. I was sent Pretty in Smoke and fell in love at first sight. Pretty in Smoke consists of Angel Kiss, a soft light pink, Sunset Smoke, a neutral taupe with just a tinch (cross between a teeny bit and a pinch) of lavender and Graphite, a rich grey satin that can take on a deep greenish tint in the right light. IT does shimmer right, especially for us older gals–it’s really more of a flattering sheen than all out shimmer that can sometimes highlight creepy lids.

Not only is this trio gorgeous, but this makeup is actually good for you! Each talc-free ultra luxe shadow is infused with:

• Green tea extracct to help target puffiness
• Hydrolyzed collagen to plump lines
• Antioxidants to ward off free radicals

These shadows are pigmented, blend well and are waterproof! There is no fading, creasing or fallout. The shades are gorgeous and make eyes gleam. I used Angel Kiss, the pale pink on the brow bone and inner corners, Sunset Smoke on the lid, and Graphite in the crease and outer corner. I also applied a bit of Graphite under the lower lashes along with black eyeliner on the waterline.

The No-Tug Heavenly Luxe Dual Eyeshadow Brush is the softest most plush eyeshadow brush I own.  The brush is designed not to tug or pull on delicate lids while applying your eyeshadow. The high quality double-ended brush is 100% cruelty-free. I especially like the wider end because it does double duty for the lid–one swipe is all you need and it can be used in the crease as well. I used the big end of the brush all over the lid and on the brow bone, then dipped into my crease shade and tapped the color in the crease using the famous “windshield-wiper” technique–then using the very same brush, blended it all together.
