I honestly cannot tell you how delighted I am to have found It Cosmetics. The product line is not vast and that’s a good thing; creator Jamie Kern takes her time working with  plastic surgeons to get the formulations exactly right so that each product does double duty as a treatment. This is where innovation and technology meet and marry, beauties. Don’t be afraid of the shimmer beauties, it’s refined and not glittery or over the top. The shadows are pigmented, blend well and are waterproof! There is no fading, creasing or fallout. These shades are gorgeous and make eyes gleam. I used the peachy pink as a highlighter under the brow bone, lavender on the lid and the deep purple in the crease and outer V. My friend who is visiting from Texas needed a Nordstrom fix so we HAD to make a stop and I was wearing Naturally Pretty in Plum on that day. Both the NARS counter manager and a Laura Mercier SA asked me who had done my makeover and commented on how they loved my eyes. What a tribute to this anti-aging eyeshadow trio!

1. I had applied the eyeshadows at about 6 AM and it was 6PM, so they held up and still looked great after 12 hours
2. For a professional to think another pro had done my makeup is a testament to how well these eyeshadows blend and perform
3. The pigmentation was great, my eyes still looked fresh with no touch-ups

Need the perfect tool to apply this awesome trio? Look no further than No-Tug Heavenly Luxe Dual Eyeshadow Brush. Just this one soft, plush, brush is all you need to create an entire eye look. The brush is designed not to tug or pull on delicate lids while applying your eyeshadow. The high quality double-ended brush is 100% cruelty-free. I especially like the wider end because it does double duty for the lid–one swipe is all you need and it can be used in the crease as well. I used the big end of the brush all over the lid and on the brow bone, then dipped into my crease shade and tapped the color in the crease using the famous “windshield-wiper” technique–then using the very same brush, blended it all together. I must have done a decent job because as I mentioned above, two makeup brand sales associates thought it was a professional job. I used the opposite end (smudge) brush to line my upper and lower lids with the deepest color and to my amazement the liner lasted all day! I didn’t even use it wet! I love the soft texture of this brush–both ends. A common problem I’ve had in the past is that a lot of smudge brushes are too harsh for my delicate under eye area. Packaging: the trio is housed in a black pot with a clear plastic lid–not fancy but durable. The brush comes in a hard plastic tube with a stopper at each end–I like this packaging and use it to store my brush every time I use it, I can also drop it into my brush cup when it’s in the protective tube.

Quality:the quality os the shadows is remarkable, they have unbelievable lasting power and are very pigmented with no glitter–yay!

Value: how can you possibly beat $24 for a high quality eyeshadow trio? You can’t ’nuff said
