Be An IT Girl With Stila!

“The It Girl Eye Shadow Palette is a great selection of the neutral eye shadows that enhance the eyes and will sparkle in the summer sun! At only $10, you can’t beat this value.” Uh….. Word!
The palette consists of:
- An exclusive shade Lame – a pretty yellow gold
- An exclusive shade Chloe–a pale bronzey brown
- The award winning Kitten–the famous champagne pink frosty shade
These shades are all shimmery with the exception of Kitten which is downright frosty. I only use Kitten for a highlight shade and it’s ideal for that. I used Kitten under the brow bone and lightly in the inner corners, Lame on the lid and Chloe in the outer V. This combination really makes eyes glow and is great for a neutral look. For me, lame is the standout shade, no orange and not too much yellow, it’s a perfect muted gold. A workhorse of a color, it can be used alone or as an allover wash or a base shade, or on lids as I did. Chloe is a soft bronzey brown with slight olive undertones. A fairly unique shade, it reminds me of very toned down subtle Golightly with a bit more brown. I also used my new favorite thing, Stila Smudgestick in Moray, a pretty olive green. The smudgestick in Lionfish has been on my wishlist and I think it would look equally fab with this palette. All these shades (again with the exception of Kitten) are pretty warm so you might want to swatch the shades if you are cooler toned. The quality is typical of Stila shadows, soft with the best blendability on the market. I can definitely see this palette as a summer staple for me when I want a bronzed goddess look.

Current favorites are a bronzer from Physician’s Formula (I don’t know the name!) that is not orange or too shimmery for my pale, aging skin. I’m also loving my Stila glosses lately as well as Dior Ready to Glow. Please enter me into the drawing for the cool toned set. Thank you!

One of my all time favorite summer products is Tarte’s bronzer in Park Ave Princess. I’m really pale and it helps me look like I’ve actually gone outside without my spf 100.

The first must have is some good sunscreen. I tried out the spray Coppertone Sport Sunscreen with 30 SPF and it worked like a charm. My other must have for the summer is a bright nail polish for my toes. Currently loving the SpaRitual Dreamsicle or Melt With You shades. Even the names say SUMMER! Sun protection! Even though I tan easily (warm tone, btw), I still need to keep away harmful rays and premature aging. For face under minerals I use a zinc oxide sunblock and under anything else a sunscreen with active ingredient avobenzone.

I live in Texas and it’s super hot already, so I can’t live without my Bare Escentuals mineral foundation. Stays on through the unbearable heat. I also my rosewater facial mister. I use it a dozen times a day to hydrate. Cool giveaway…..and I could use the Cool kit.

During the summer, I get even more oily. I thought this was supposed to diminish over the years….not so :) I like OC8 for oil control, MAC pressed blot powder (works better than the loose on me), and Aveeno positively radiant spf 15 moisturizer/sunscreen. I’m very fair and love cool tone colors. Thanks!

My favorite summer product is Soft Lips Lip Protectant with SPF 20 in Vanilla. It’s basically lip balm, but I love it! I use it everyday.

The one product I can’t live without this summer, well 2 products, is the Stila waterproof dual stick smudgeliner (comes in 8 different colors and every one is gorgeous)as well as the YSL Waterproof Faux Cils Mascara in Black. If I should be lucky enough to win this contest, i would prefer the Stila set in cool.
This is one of the best giveaways I’ve seen in a long time and there have been plenty of wonderful giveaways. But I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE Stila and every product in this Kit. Good luck to all!!!!!

I like all the bright coloured eyeshadows for the summer. The facial spray is much needed as well to cool down the heat.

The one beauty item I can’t live without this summer is the urban decay all nighter spray which essentially keeps your make up and foundation in place, without mmelting off even in the most humid, hottest weather. After applying your make up, you simply spray this on the face, setting your make up and its fantastic. If I should win, I’d love the Stila kit in cool. Thanks for the great giveaway.

My favourite summer product is suncreen and I’m going to get the sephora favourites Best in Bronze Deluxe Sampler soon. I hope some of the products in it will become favourites too! I don’t own face makeup other than concealer because I’m new at makeup but I want foundation, bronzers and blushes soon.
I’d love the warm set. I think my coloring is warm toned but I haven’t been professionally colour-matched yet. I love the colours in the warm set though!

One of my favorite summer products include all the cute hair accessories that I use to put my hair up so it is back and up off my neck (so I can keep cooler:-). I also like to use combo products on my face, like tinted moisturizer instead of moisturizer and then foundation, so that there aren’t as many heavy products on my face (letting it breathe!)
