Hair La Vie, the all natural haircare brand and Maria Shireen, the functional fashion accessories company, have teamed up to create an exclusive limited edition gift set for the holidays: Hair La Vie’s Moroccan Repair Serum and Maria Shireen’s Charity Ties for Ovarian Cancer Turquoise Hair Tie Bracelet. This is such a cute gift, but better yet it’s the gift that gives back.

Both Hair La Vie and Maria Shireen are brands committed to doing good for their communities and regularly donate proceeds to cancer prevention organizations. They thought that collaborating together this season on this project would make the perfect “Holiday Gift That Gives Back.”

The On-the-Go Gift Set retails for $75 ($10 will be donated to the national non-profit Bright Pink, which focuses on the prevention and early detection of breast cancer and ovarian cancer in young women).

About Hair La Vie
Hair La Vie was co-founded by Carla Rivas, a hairstylist with more than 10 years of experience. She created Hair La Vie because she never wanted another woman to have to go through the insecurity and heartbreak associated with hair loss, thinning and damage. After an intense battle against cervical cancer, Carla knew the helpless feeling that comes with losing your hair extremely well. Hair La Vie’s mission is to create high-quality, uncompromising, natural products that help to repair your hair while keeping it naturally healthy and beautiful. It doesn’t matter if you’re dealing with hair thinning, balding, damage, breakage, frizz, split ends or you just want to keep your hair as naturally healthy as possible, Hair La Vie has you covered. After all, when you feel good about your hair, you feel good about yourself, and you can take on the world.

Hair La Vie’s Moroccan Repair Serum (2 fl. oz) is an all-natural hydration system that protects against damage and frizz, while creating instant shine. The serum’s unique combination of hair loss fighting ingredients is perfect for those with weak, damaged, brittle strands and split ends. It provides immediate results because of an argan oil base and a complex combination of essential oils and vitamins like coconut oil, avocado oil, jojoba seed oil, Vitamin D3, and Vitamin E. Argan oil reverses the damage from chemicals and is very high in Vitamin E, promoting a healthy scalp to eliminate dandruff and itching. Coconut oil further prevents breakage, while biotin rich avocado oil deep conditions the hair, locks in moisture, and promotes healthy cell growth. The result is a lightweight, results driven oil that aids in the growth of strong and healthy hair with no parabens, no phthalates, no dyes, no alcohol.

Use 3-4 pumps daily–for oily hair, apply to wet hair, for normal to dry hair, apply to dry hair wherever needed.

Hair Ties
Maria Shireen Hair Ties is the brilliant answer to always wearing hair ties on your wrist; It’s a bracelet that eliminates the pressure from the elastic around your wrist and makes the hair tie look like a stylish bracelet by creating a channel that holds the hair tie in place. Such a genius idea!

About Maria Shireen Charity Ties
Maria Shireen accessories believes in the power of compassion and in the strength that is created when people band together in support of a common cause. That’s why they created the CHARITY TIES™ Initiative. Kicking off in 2016, they began offering a series of bracelets dedicated to changing the world for the better. Maria Shireen CHARITY TIES bracelets come engraved with #BANDOFSTRENGTH, and each one is accompanied by a different color hair tie, signifying the cause being supported by that purchase (the Charity Ties for Ovarian Cancer contains a turquoise hair tie for Ovarian Cancer). For every bracelet sold, they donate $10 to a related organization dedicated to making a positive difference ($10 from each Ovarian Cancer Charity Ties is donated to Bright Pink.)

I have two cousins who are breast cancer survivors. I saw them at their worst during their treatments and saw how they lost their beautiful hair. Thankfully, they have been cancer free for almost 4 years now. I think the charity ties band of strength bracelet would be a good gift, in addition to being able to help others in need.
