Giveaway for Our Canadian Readers!

I’ve often thought there is a possibility I could have a split personality. Yes, it’s true–I am a United States Citizen with the brain of a Canadian, eh? I live very close to Canada and have visited often. The country is breathtaking and I admire their stewardship of their environment. Plus they have fantastic “crisps” otherwise known to us Yanks as potato chips–except they’re not just plain old potato chips. Canada has crisps in cool flavours (noticed how I used a ‘u’ in flavours–eh)– Pickle crisps, Ketchup Crisps, Smokey Bacon,  Jalapeno & Cheddar, Sweet Chili & Sour Cream–see what I mean? Beautiful scenery, friendly people, flavoured crisps, hockey, a kinda sorta relationship with Britain–Canada has a lot going for it.

You can add one more thing to that list–GlowingBeauty.ca  a Canadian owned and operated website started by Stephen Taddei and Nicole Glasier. They wanted to make online shopping as easy and rewarding as possible so they offer free shipping on orders over $50 and reward points that can count for as much as 10% credit towards future orders.

Dozens of quality brands such as Gehwol, Clarisonic, Tend Skin, Revitalash and Opi are offered at the online store www.GlowingBeauty.ca

One lucky Canadian Prime Beauty reader will win a $25 gift certificate to GlowingBeauty. The contest is open to Canadian citizens over 18 only and ends at midnight PST on January 31. To enter leave a comment and tell me your favorite thing a-boat Canada!

The scenery! Even though I live in Calgary where there is none – I’m from BC and miss the amazing mountain ranges and gorgeous lake views!

I love the weather where I live in Canada…..we don’t get snow!! (only if we are lucky) and it doesn’t get very cold here…think Seattle but warmer and drier!!

I love our health care, our scenery, the ocean (I live on Vancouver Island) and I love how polite we are as a people in general!

I love the friendliness of the people and the fresh air, and not to mention taking long drives through the rolling praries that seem to go on forever.

I can go hiking on a one day or multi-day trip just by taking local transit to the mountains… :) That’s pretty awesome. It only takes me about 45 minutes to get to some of the trails.

Hi Cindy, Just helping you strive towards your true “Canadian-ness” here – you are using your “aye” in the proper context but you amend it to the proper beaver-approved “eh?” ;-)

    Best, Lisamarie

      Gotcha Lisamarie! Thank you!

My favorite thing about Canada is the people. Friendly people are everywhere you go and we are always ready to lend a hand if someone is in need. Our country is also beautiful but it is the people that I love the most about Canada!

My favorite thing about Canada is our multiculturalism. There is such a great mix of people and traditions.
