Giveaway Alert! Keranique Anti-Aging Solution for Hair

Women make up 40% of American hair loss sufferers and yet the issue continues to be thought of as a strictly male condition. Over the years, women have tried a range of strange approaches to make their hair thicker and fuller, from huge curlers, to blow drying their hair upside down, to use of harsh chemicals, to even using raw eggs or beer as shampoo.

With the goal of finding a solution to this ever-prominent but rarely talked about need, Atlantic Coast Media Group (ACMG), the parent company of luxury, anti-aging skincare brand, Hydroxatone, assigned two innovative and passion-driven women of science to the task. ACMG’s plan was to develop a revolutionary system designed exclusively for women’s unique hair needs to address hair rejuvenation and offer instant, one-week, and significant, long-term hair regrowth results.

Co-founders Dr. Mindy Goldstein and Tammy Yaiser combined their expertise to devise a structure that worked to cleanse, nourish and treat the scalp – providing a healthy base to stimulate new, healthy hair growth. With the help of the Keranique system for women, your tresses will be hydrated and nourished from root to tip for silky strands.

The Keranique solution involves the 3 simple and easy steps:

Step 1: Cleanse & Condition

  • The Keranique Volumizing Shampoo gently deep cleans, stimulates/nourishes the scalp and follicles, and removes oil/build up that drags hair down. The shampoo is free of sulfates, parabens and synthetic fragrances. ($35)
  • The Keranique Volumizing Conditioner coats the hair to make each strand thicker and protects fine hair with a unique cream-gel formula that doesn’t weigh it down. It is also formulated to help hydrate and stimulate micro-circulation around the hair follicle to help nourish the hair. The conditioner’s blend of technologies penetrates each hair shaft to help smooth cuticles, mend split ends and decrease hair breakage. ($35)

Step 2: Treat Thinning Hair

  • The Keranique 8-Day Intensive Treatment is a major advancement in hair anti-aging, which contains the highest recommended concentration of a clinical strength, patented peptide to help strengthen and “anchor” the hair at the root. This highly concentrated, leave-in scalp therapy also helps reduce DHT on the scalp, stimulate skin proteins, and reduce scalp irritation to support thicker, healthier hair as it grows. ($60)
  • The Keranique Follicle-Boosting Serum addresses thinning hair at the follicles using a peptide and stem cell technology. Apple stem cells target the hair follicle to protect, nourish and strengthen it for maximum hair growth. The serum is weightless and alcohol-free. ($30)
  • The Keranique Hair Regrowth Treatment features 2% Minoxidil, the only FDA-approved treatment clinically-proven to help regrow hair. This treatment is for women with thinning hair looking for serious and long-term solutions. ($25)

Step 3: Style

(These products are great for those seeking some extra volume!)

  • The Keranique Volumizing Lifting Spray targets the root area to add instant volume, bounce and shine, plus it protects each hair shaft against breakage and harmful heat damage caused by styling irons and blow dryers. The spray is weightless, alcohol-free, and works best with heat. ($20)
  • The Keranique Fortifying Mousse makes hair smoother to touch, easier to brush, and spring back with a slight resistance to create body, fullness and volume. It is scientifically blended to maintain hair’s body without adding stiffness.  ($20)

Hey, Cindy! This looks like a great giveaway; thank you so much for hosting it. I’ve never seen this haircare line before, but you’ve never steered me wrong yet! Due to age, trauma, depression, stress, a life-long hormonal imbalance, two bouts with different types of cancer, genetic alopecia, and one reason that is really my own fault (double-processing at home!), I probably have less hair on my head than any one you have ever seen, without being completely bald. The little bit of hair that I do have is baby-fine; I can put my entire head of hair up in the second-smallest size of clippie! I cannot use a brush on it because it’s too fragile, so for many, many years, I have used only a wide-toothed comb. It is also board-straight and lies just above my shoulders; any shorter and you would not be able to tell that I even have any hair. I stripped the natural color in an attempt to blend the bald spots with a light ash blonde shade. I use volumnizing hair products and dry my hair upside-down to try and make it look a little fuller. The best thing I have discovered so far is to use a sea salt spray to lift it away from my scalp. This also seems to help my problem with extreme oiliness. I wish that I could get some sort of body perm, but my hair is much, much too delicate for that, so it’s not an option for me. I tried a wig a few years ago, but wearing it gave me severe migraines, so that’s out. A hairdresser recommended a hair-weave, but then backtracked after examining it more thoroughly and said that my hair is actually too thin and weak to hold a weave. My endocrinologist and dermatologist both suggested MEN’S Rogaine and I tried it for a while, until my husband’s stroke disabled him and I could not afford to buy it anymore. I don’t really know if it would have helped as I wasn’t able to use it long enough to see a difference. It’s so frustrating that, at this point, I would shave my head completely and have hair designs tattooed on my scalp, if I could afford it! Wouldn’t I look cute, at the age of 59? lol This really sucks since I look much younger than my age, except for my d—-d hair, or I should say, the lack of it! I didn’t mean to make this comment so long, but you wanted to know the issues with my hair, so there they are, in all their “crowning glory”. lol Thank you again, Cindy, for the wonderful giveaway!
