You may recall another St. Ives I reviewed recently and featured on Frugal Friday, the St. Ives Scrub-Free Exfoliating Pads. It was for that exact reason I didn’t want to feature another St. Ives product and so I didn’t even try the Naturally Smooth Hand Cream until I became desperate and found it in the depths of my bag on a plane. Silly me, I should have guessed it would be good after my experience with the exfoliating pads. I didn’t know it would be great!
The hand cream uses the power of Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHA) to gently exfoliate hands to reveal softer smoother skin. Most alpha hydroxy acids are synthetic but the AHA’s used in St. Ives Naturally Smooth are derived from natural fruit acids. What does this mean? They are gentler on your skin and are…well, natural..as in…found in nature.
Here are the claims:
- Exfoliates and improves the appearance of rough, uneven skin in just 7 days
100 percent natural moisturizers help it absorb quickly into skin
Formulated with natural alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs)
Available at Target stores nationwide for $2.99
I haven’t finished my full 7 days yet so I will update you. I can say this though–it absorbs fairly quickly and absolutely does NOT leave a greasy residue which makes me want to use it on a regular basis.
