Frugal Friday – Soap & Glory Cleansing Cloths

If you’ve been reading this blog for awhile (and I hope you have) you know I have a serious weakness for the Soap & Glory line from Target. In my shower right now I have Clean on Me Body Wash and Scrub of Your Life Body Scrub; on my bathroom counter I have both the Righteous Butter Lotion and the Righteous Body Butter. I knew from the moment I brought my first Soap & Glory treasures home from Tar-jay, that they were special. See my review here. However, I have a confession to make dear beauties–I don’t always wash my face at night. What can I say? There have been a few (or more) times while watching the Golf Channel with The Boyfriend I’ve fallen asleep on the couch in my makeup! Well, wouldn’t you if you had to watch golf? That’s what led me to try Off Your Face cleansing cloths. Even if I don’t have the energy to go through my regular skincare regimen, I can still rub one of these cloths over my face quickly and be done. These are billed as multi-purpose; they are suppose to remove makeup, exfoliate, shrink pores, and tone all in one. The verdict? Off Your Face cleansing cloths work overtime! They removed all my makeup–even stubborn waterproof eyeliner, and left my skin feeling fresh and clean. I didn’t have to rub or scrub hard and there was no residue. It did feel like I had used toner, but not in a bad way–my skin didn’t feel tight, just refreshed. The cloths have a little bit of texture to them, so S&G gets points for the exfoliation factor too. As far as shrinking pores with Poreshrink-RS (whatever that is), well we all know there is no such thing as shrinking pores–only deep cleaning them, which I think these cloths accomplished. The scent is not quite the original Soap & Glory scent but it’s pleasant nonetheless.

Packaging: handy plastic container with a flip top dispenser so they don’t dry out–niiiiice!

Quality: these cloths do everything they are supposed to do without being rough on the skin

Overall: fantastic multi-tasking product, nice scent, conveniently packaged and helloooooo–$7 for 25! Perfect for our busy lifestyle (or watching the golf channel)

Grade: A
