Fashion Friday – Coral and Mint Green

Mint & Coral

Tired of the brights and neon colors that typify summer? Go for something soft and fresh and like ice cream colors! These chocolate chip mint green capris are perfect for a pretty but casual look. Whichever you prefer, pants, capris or shorts mint green is having a fashion moment and is easily paired with other pastels and prints. I also the contrast of navy with mint green.
For a nice change from tee-shirts, add a feminine flowy print blouse with a boho vibe. This one is from NY Collection and the button placket is actually lace adding a bit of vintage charm.
Shoes can run the gamut from a comfortable flat like these L.K. Bennett sandals ($115) with a girly bow or something more funky like these Pura Lopez wedges from If you prefer to let your outfit speak louder than your accessories, you might opt for a neutral shoe and bag. Other shoe options: a flat gladiator sandal, flat pointed toes, a strappy sandal for night.
As for bags, I prefer a small cross body but a hobo would work too. I just love the look of this coral and white bag by the Cambridge Satchel Co. I also think it’s fun to add an additional color to keep from looking too matchy-matchy and found this darling pale yellow bag also from The Cambridge Satchel Co.

Jewelry should be light and airy like this whimsical love bird necklace which is keeping with the boho vibe. I couldn’t resist these turquoise chandelier earrings by to add the finishing touch.

The perfect makeup for an outfit like this?

Light second-skin foundation like the budget friendly Boots No. 7 Lift and Luminate. Review here. Add a glowy bronzer like my super fav Buxom Hot Escapes. Tahiti is ideal for fair girls and Maldives suits darker beauties.

A nice glossy peachy nude lip. I like Soap and Glory’s Mother Pucker Gloss Stick in Nudist. Read my review here. If you like a little more sparkle, go for the new Lancome In Love Glosses, reviewed here. Blink Pink, a peachy pink would work beautifully.
