#1 priority hydration- but if it can help with fine lines, and darkness around the undereyes and Bonus if it isn’t too spendy….

I look for a few things in an eye cream; excellent hydration, reasonable absorption time and a pump delivery. I like the Exuviance line quite a bit (already using their Bionic Serum and Performance Peel products) and am about to run out of my current eye cream. I’d love to win your giveaway and give this a try!

I have found that so many eye creams are either so thick that it takes forever to absorb. Or it’s impossible to put on make up afterward because the cream sort of bunches up like a ball. If the cream is too thin, not only does it do little to enhance your eyes but it rides up quickly into your eyes causing burning. Many eye creams only target one or two of the problems associated with the eyes such as fine line, dark circles but they don’t address them all. As such, in order to get the effects you’re looking for, sometimes one must buy several different products for the eyes alone, which becomes costly and rarely does the job you hope they would. To be able to address all the issues that this cream claims to do is amazing and I, for one, would love to check ths product out. Not only will it enhance your beauty but it sure beats having to pay for several products instead of one.

I went to the Neostrata web page and the one product that sounded very interesting, perfect for mature skin is the bionic face serum. This serum is supposed to address the following issues:

Polyhydroxy Acid Lactobionic Acid diminishes the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles
Provides intense moisturization and antioxidant benefits
    Refines pores
    Brightens sallowness
What more can you ask for in any product?

What do I look for in an eye cream? EVERYTHING!!! I want it to depuff, get rid of my “shelf” overhanging my lid, dewrinkle, deredden, uncrepe, fix the leaky sink…oops, not the last one. But you get what I mean?

Awesome! I don’t have much experience with eyecreams as the good ones seem so expensive, but I think my top criteria for one (besides good anti-aging ingredients) would be: cruelty-free, non-scented, and in a hygienic pump container! Thank you!

  • please pardon the double post, was just trying to subscribe through my own blogger account but since i’m here, will stumble upon and digg my way our 😉

  • I ask a lot! First, it must WORK! I have been using the Exuviance Age Reverse Eye Contour before applying makeup, and I like it very much. One morning I forgot to apply undereye concealer and was surprised to notice I didn’t really need any! It’s a good product because it’s quickly absorbed, and improves the eye area.

  • Tina

I look for moisturization that lasts and helps my concealer stay on without creasing.

  • Maureen

I look for hydration and anything that will help my puffiness

  • Sophia

I look for eye creams that moisturize and help with the crows feet. Thanks!

  • Barb

I like an eyecream that hydrates, firms and reduces the appearance if fine lines.

  • Tara

I look for good hydration and something that will stay put when I apply concealer. So many times the eye cream will ball up and start to come off in chunks.

  • DalaLuz

What a lovely Give Away again, thank you. Well, an Eye Cream needs to work & it needs to stay put… I hate creams that get into my eyes at night and sting or irritate. I expect it to hydrate, feed & firm. Many extra bonus points for good pricing and cruelty free.

I look for something that will moisturize the delicate eye area, but I prefer noncomodogenic moisturizers. I also look for eye creams to help brighten that area, as I have genetic tendency to develop dark circles there.

One that takes care of lines and wrinkles but is not greasy.

  • Tracey Byram

I like an eye cream to moisturize without being greasy. I want it to brighten undereye circles and it would be fabulous if they would actually get rid of wrinkles.

  • Jennifer P

I look for anti-aging properties (get rid of those wrinkles) and a nice moisturizer.

  • Mimi

I just look for a product that works! Meaning retinol.

  • Susan

I look for firming and hydration benefits in an eye cream. I tried a mask in this brand that was fabulous. I also need something for smoothing the wrinkles. Hydration is suppose to help with minimizing the fine lines and wrinkles. And who doesn’t want to get rid of those.

In an eye cream I look for something that is very rich and moisturizing yet nongreasy. I need a good “base” for my undereye concealer. I also need it to be gentle and for it to not irritate my sensitive eyes and skin.

I would love to try the Bionic Facial Serum! 🙂

    Thanks!!!

  • I had to really think about this question, because I realized that I haven’t found the right eye cream yet, because no eye cream I have bought can be used during the day. They are all too heavy and that means greasy. I’ll start at the beginning…

I’m on a budget, I don’t have the money to spend $100, or even $50 on eye creams, moisturizer, face wash, any of it. So my first priority is to find these products $20 or less. Second, while reading the label I’m looking for anti-aging, reduce fine lines and wrinkles, hydrate. Then comes non-greasy. I’d love to find an eye cream that fits all three categories!

The product I’d like to try is Exuviance Matte Perfection, because I have a super oily t-zone, with large pores, and I feel my skin is somewhat thick. In the description it says this, “Clinically proven to improve overall skin texture, tone and pore size. After four weeks.” Sounds like it was made for me!

    • cindy

Donna, check out Reviva labs for reasonable and effective eye creams. There is a firming eye serum that is fantastic–it has DMAE, Alpha Lipoic acid & Vitamin C Ester. I use it under eye cream I try, but it may be enough for you on it’s own! It’s onl;y $19!

  • Jennifer Ryder

I’m looking for a cream that’s not too greasy, not too expensive, and that works!!
    Thanks,
