Oh please Mr. Postman bring me a letter from CARGO. The CARGO Voyages Spring 2011 Collection has the cutest travel theme!
The pouches, with the air mail stickers, remind me of the ‘old days’ before cell phones, texting and facebook when people would actually use paper and pen to write a letter! I had a pen-pal (remember those?) when I was about 10 or 11. He lived in Germany and his name was Lutz Langenhiemer. Our teacher had assigned each of us a foreign pen pal and I was heartbroken when I got a dumb boy. We wrote back and forth for several years and somehow by the time I was 14, that ‘dumb’ boy and remarkably become that ‘cute’ boy. But even then, distance was a problem and by the time I was 15, I opted for someone closer to home. I’m sure Lutz was devastated.
