Hello beauties! A few weeks ago I did a Frugal Friday post about the Garnier Eye Roller and in that post I complained about my under eye bags and this product not working to help them at all. Well gosh, the nice people at Reviva Labs felt my pain (ha) and were nice enough to send me their Collagen-Fibre Eye Pad Kitto try! With this kit, my beauties, your bags will pack themselves away go on a trip without you, yay!
The kit consists of two parts:
A 2 oz. bottle of Skin Energizing Gel which is made from almost 100% Hawaiian seaweed extract. Fed by powerful ocean tides, the Energizing gel contains an exclusive mixture of “electrically charged” trace mineral ions that serve as skin activators that stimulate skin cells. Reviva also claims the Skin Energizing Gel helps your skin absorb your creams more effectively. They suggest using a few drops on face and neck before applying your night cream. I haven’t tried this yet but will!
4 sets of Collagen Fibre contour-cut eye pads which are infused with the anti-wrinkle ingredient of Myoxinol (made from the hibiscus flower). This key ingredient helps relax tissue for an anti-wrinkle Botox like effect. The pads are made from 100% freeze-dried Collagen fibre.
With Reviva’s Instant Action Collagen Eye Pad Kit,my under eye area will looked smoother, felt tighter and lifted and my fine lines were drastically diminished. I don’t really have dark circles so I can’t speak to that. The results are temporary of course, but Reviva says added usage will bring cumulative benefits. I was really amazed, my puffiness was reduced too!
Application is easy:
- Apply the Skin Energizing gel to the under eye area generously
- Open the sterile package of fibre pads–(unless you are the Incredible Hulk you will need scissors) and gently place the pads on moistened under eye area. I was a little rough the first time and the pads did rip a bit
- Using a wet cotton ball or towel, pat the fibre pads, slowly molding them to the skin. Tip: you must use a cotton ball or wet towel–not damp, but wet. Don’t try to splash water on them like I did–you’ll end up with a mess!
- Leave in place for 15-20 minutes. Have a relaxing cup of tea or read a good book!
- Gently remove and discard.
- Viola! Done

The Reviva Labs Collagen-Fibre Eye Pad Kit retails for $38. Since the gel lasts longer than the pads in the kit, they also offer a separate fibre pad refill with 3 pr. of pads for $21.
Packaging: the Skin Energizing Gel is in a pump bottle which I always prefer for convenience and sanitary reasons, the eye pads are in a sterile sealed package
Quality: Reviva Labs is a well respected company rooted in science and the quality of this product is indeed impressive
Value: there are four applications in this kit which is an inexpensive alternative to some eye creams, however the effects are temporary
Best For: anyone with dark circles, wrinkles, puffiness, and lack of firmness in the eye area–isn’t that all of us?
Overall: I’m very impressed with the performance of this product, even though the effect is temporary. My under eye area really did look and feel much better. This would be great if you have a special event and want to look top notch. I will be using this kit for my daughter’s college graduation this summer! Reviva Labs does claim the effect of this product will have long-term benefits so I will keep track and let you know.

I initially tried hibiscus tea at a health spa in mumbai and admired the flavour. When I heard about medical benefits, I was seriously stimulated to buy some. Couldn’t find it in any way in any neighborhood stores but bought on line. I have been sipping about 3 cups each and every day (cold) for around 23 days currently and latest blood pressure level reading was the best it has been in years! I highly recommend.
