Great news beauties! BECCA, the fabulous brand from Australia is now at Sephora.com! I really am thrilled at this news because I am totally enamored with the brand. They are the epitome of effortless chic. Everything BECCA does they do with a classic yet natural touch—never overdone or flashy.
Oh bliss, I die—these new shades of BECCA Ultimate Gloss–Oh my! These brilliant new glosses are smooth, shiny, long wearing and weightless. Isn’t that the definition of magnificent? It is in my makeup book. These glosses are highly pigmented–one swipe is all you need for high shine and lush color. I prefer glosses that deliver a punch of color rather than just shine and BECCA’s Ultimate Gloss ($24) supply a rich dose of color!
There are seven new shades:
- Miami Vice – a peachy nude that suits all skin tones
- Pink Lotus – a creamy medium coral
- Palm Breeze – a mauve rose
- Malibu Punch – a bright tangerine (love this name)
- Flamingo Crush – a deep fucshua
- Hotel California - a raspberry red (OMG a red I can actually wear—alert the media)
- Hummingbird- a deep berry
This fall BECCA introduced three new shades to the cult-favorite Beach Tint line. If you’ve never tried Beach Tints ($25), you really don’t know what you’re missing (as my Mama would say). These little tubes of terrific impart a soft and natural flush to cheeks and lips. Believe me, after trying one color you’ll be hooked! You need only the teeny tinest bit to achieve a believable wash of color.
The new shades are:
- Papaya – a hot red
- Lychee – a hot pink
- Dragonfruit – a pinky coral
BECCA beach tints are oil-free, water resistant and easy to blend. They are packed with Vitamin E for a streak-free stain and have a subtle scent. Try layering under powder blushes or lip balms for added intensity. I originally came to revere BECCA for their cream blushes, then I moved on to the mineral powder blushes and now I’m obsessed with the Beach Tints! A stain is great for not creeping into fine lines and of course it can’t look cakey so that makes them ideal for over 40 gals!
