The shadow palettes are pretty wild, aren’t they? They are so not for me. I adore the blush and have been wearing that along with the Lip Sheers.
What a pretty collection! That chartreuse color is not for me but the blush is beautiful! I have never tried anything from this brand. I might have to change that pretty quick!
I need play time with this brand more. I love the way they do golds, coppers, bronzes. I’m wearing a duo today as a matter of fact.
I’m really debating on the blush. Especially in that you compared it to Nars Orgasm, which I found totally disappointing because it didn’t show up on me at all. Would this give more pigment? Or….in what way does it compare with the Nars? thanks, Cindy!
polarbelle the blush compares to NARS in the color–a beautiful pinky peach with a golden sheen. It is also NOT a glitter ball like Orgasm is. you NEED it!
The next big thing is my favorite out of the two quads. I love how travel friendly they are and the packaging is cute.
I think the blush is pretty, but it’s pretty much a dupe of NARS Orgasm, as you said. Sorry to say, I do not care for the eyeshadow quartets at all! I guess I believe as a woman over 40 (OK, who am I kidding, I’m 52!), there are certain colors and trends that are best left to the youngsters among us. And this is one of those trends, “Icon” aka: chartreuse and the orangey “Hoopla” are not flattering colors on the eye. I believe that eyeshadow should bring out the natural beauty of one’s eyes so that people say, “What beautiful eyes you have!” not “What is that orange color you’re wearing?” Sorry, but I always have to be honest, Cindy. Your eyes are too pretty for those colors!
I agree on the eye shadow quads Mama but have to disagree on the blush. This is I WANTED Orgasm to be. Orgasm was waaay to glittery for me and this one isn’t at all and the texture is lovely plus it’s only $22!
Really? And you don’t mean “Super Orgasm” which actually had CHUNKS of glitter in it? I found that Orgasm sometimes turned orangey on my skin (oil? Maybe…). I’ll have to have a look at this blush.
The Wild Thing and Natural High should be at my house in the next few days, so glad to hear they are standouts in the collection!
I really like your take on bareMinerals – the Remix Collection, I’m a fab=n of the Next Big Thing.
EVERYONE must have read your review because that blush is sold out online at Macy’s, Ulta, Nordstrom and Sephora!!! Nice eye looks too.
