Balm Chicky Balm Balm is a lip balm that celebrates the glory days of feathered hair, roller disco, and onesie jumpsuits. In other words, my generation! I rocked bell bottoms, fringed vests and platform shoes. Balm Chicky Balm Balm has three times the amount of balm as a typical tube and retails for only $7.

Balm Chicky Balm Balm is the only brand of all-natural lip balm to feature “The Friend End” tube. The Friend End helps consumers share lip relief without sharing germs. With The Friend End, users can reserve the main side of the tube for themselves while sharing the opposite end filled with a separate pot of balm for any opportunistic friends who ask to borrow some.

“Balm Chicky Balm Balm solves the main problem with balm sharing.” said co-founder Liz Moskow. “With Balm Chicky Balm Balm and The Friend End, you can keep your lips sacred and germ free, while still being kind enough to share your soothing lip care with others. In essence, we’re the benevolent balm.”

Part of the fun of Balm Chicky Balm Balm are the cheeky names and flavors like….

  • Juicy Melons
  • Huge Cucumber Mint
  • Wild Mountain Honey and Clementine
  • Hot Chocolate Love
  • Sweet Baby Ginger

All of the balms are made with all natural ingredients like organic hemp oil, organic olive oil and natural beeswax. I tried Wild Mountain Honey and Clementine and Hot Chocolate Love. Wild Mountain Honey and Clementine is very soothing and tastes sweet but not too sweet. I do wish I could taste or smell the clementine more. I wasn’t expecting to like Hot Chocolate Love because most of the time chocolate flavors taste so fake and too similar to plastic. So not the case with Balm Chicky Balm Balm! Grab a bag of marshmallows, because Hot Chocolate Love tastes just like Swiss Miss Hot Chocolate…YUM!

Owners and inventors Liz Moskow and Abby Schwalb were brave enough to enter The Shark Tank (one of my fav TV shows) om February 3rd of this year. They have a patent on The Friend End and were looking for an investment from the Sharks. Although they didn’t score a deal, the best line of the show came from the girls to Kevin O’Leary: “I’m not sure why they call you “Mr. Wonderful.”

Since the airing of Shark Tank, Balm Chicky Balm Balm has redone their packaging, dropped their price to $7 and are now stocked in select Target stores! Congratulations ladies!

From our partners

  1. That’s so cute that they have a shareable package design. Sure to go over well with the school-age kids who love everything retro! I’m glad my bell-bottomed days are behind me… lol!

  2. I’m hoping this brand will come to my Target store!

  3. I really hope this brand is cruelty free.

I got excited over EOS and then learned all that glitters is not gold. With Burt’s Bees I learned about the parent company. If a product is tested- forget it. If a product is not tested but the parent company does testing on other products- forget it.

  4. Wild Mountain Honey and Clementine and Hot Chocolate Love are the two flavors I would choose!

  5. I love the name! Def looking for this the next time I’m at Target!

  6. I can get my chocolate fix without the calories with this balm.

  7. I love these balms. I have Hot Chocolate and Juicy Melon and I love the flavor and scent. Their new packaging is so much better. I just wish they’d had it on Shark Tank because those stupid sharks just didn’t get the idea of their original packaging and couldn’t get passed that. YEA for these two chickies for improving and giving Kevin a piece of their minds.

  8. I watch Shark Tank too! But I don’t share makeup, let alone lip products. Sorry I’m such a snob 🙂

    • You know Kath, I always thought that was kind of a strange idea–sharing lip balm. None of my friends have ever asked to use mine!

  9. I haven’t tried them since the new packaging. I did catch them on Shark Tank and I was horrified at how they were treated. SO RUDE. They are great balms! I’ll look for them in Target!

  10. jess scull says:

the name of this is so cute!! Hot chocolate sounds delish!

  11. I remember seeing them on Shark Tank 🙂

  12. These sound awesome. I especially like the sound of the chocolate one.
