I had the opportunity to try several products in the line and color me impressed! You see, I have issues–hair issues. My stylist tells me I have lots of hair, it’s just very, very fine. I admit for years I was convinced she was lying to me; until I met someone that had less hair than me. Anywho, my hair is a constant struggle. I need to add volume without weighing it down, and trust me this is no easy feat. That’s why I was so thrilled that the Anthony Morrison Weightless Moisture line actually delivers on it’s promise! Anthony’s products are formulated with a unique combination of Hibiscus Protein and natural Floral Hydrasols of Jasmine, Orange Blossom and Ylang Ylang. Floral Hydrasols are the lightest form of pure natural essential oils. Specialized methods of steam distillation extract all of the powerful moisturizing benefits and nutrients without the heaviness or weight. Thanks to Anthony the flat head is dead!
The line consists of 7 products:
- HYDRACleanse Sulfate free shampoo–I love the smell and the rich lather. This gently cleanses your hair while restoring moisture and natural softness without weight.
- HYDRAnourish Conditioner—a daily conditioner that delivers the extra moisture everybody needs without making hair flat. Yeehaw!
- HYDRAlock Shine Serum– a nourishing shine serum that locks in moisture and fabulous shine. Makes my hair shiny without being greasy or leaving a “film.”
- HYDRAboostBodyifying Spray–a lightweight spray that gives hair volume and shine that lasts all day. Key word here–lightweight. It adds volume without being heavy or sticky–perfect!
- HYDRAtameBlow Dry Crème–heat activated by your blow dryer it tames frizz and leaves your hair silky smooth. This is one hair problem I don’t have thankfully.Â
- HYDRAsmooth Thermal Protecting Crème–if your flat iron is your nemesis, try this protecting creme and make friends with your hair tools again!
- HYDRArestore Deep Conditioning Masque— a rich conditioning masque that imparts a ton of moisture but absolutely does not weigh it down. I don’t know how Anthony did it; this leaves your hair really soft, but not too soft, it remains bouncy and not flat like others I’ve tried.Â
Overall thoughts: I’m delighted with the results of the Weightless Moisture line of products. We all abuse our hair with heat, color, perms, etc. This line is wonderful for re-infusing moisture into your hair and still keeping in bouncy, soft and shiny. I love how my hair feels after using Weightless Moisture products–soft and silky but not limp!! Oh, and one more thing…this weekend my AH shampoo and conditioner were mysteriously missing from my shower….and my daughter spent the weekend at a friend’s house, coincidence? I think not! If it has Miss Picky’s stamp of approval it’s gotta be slammin’ (I think that’s good).

My biggest issue, outside of dry and frizzy hair, is wearing my hair wavy on the 2nd day. I feel it lacks volume and softness and is just oily and droopy!

I’d love to try a new line of hair products. I just bought a new conditioner this afternoon and it smells awful and my hair is still hard to comb out. The issues? It’s long, it’s gray, it’s thick, and the weather is very humid. I noticed in another comment you mentioned Age Beautiful, which sounds interesting. Thanks for the great giveaway!

My main issues are that my hair is extremely thin on top and at the sides (yes, I have many bald spots!), is so baby-fine that it is as if it’s glued to my head, and is colored, leaving it without much shine.
