This winter has been extremely cold in my part of the country. That coupled with working around nurses, medical equipment and students on a daily basis and I wash my hands a LOT. These are a few hand creams I’ve come to rely on to keep hands soft and moisturized.
Eucerin Intensive Repair Extra Enriched Hand Cream ($6)- this is super thick but provided all day hydration. It also has alpha hydroxy in the formula to gt rid of dry flaky skin. AVAHA Mineral Hand Cream ($21) - a best seller for the brand, this hand cream contains allantion the heal dry, cracked skin. Perfect for everyday use. Curel Hand and Cuticle Therapy ($7) - This non-greasy formula is infused with soy milk, monoi oil, and vitamin E to help soften hands in just one use. I keep this in my desk drawer at work because it absorbs so well I can still type after using it! Carol’s Daughter Almond Cookie Hand Creme ($14, now on sale for $10) Rich ingredients like Sunflower Seed, Coconut, and Soybean Oils are packed with nourishing vitamins and antioxidants for truly healthier, softer skin. The smell is great too! Votre Vu Duette ($23) - a deeply moisturizing lip balm and decadently rich hand crème in one package. This recipe of nourishing and protecting sunflower, grape seed and jojoba oils combined with moisturizing and healing aloe, wheat proteins and natural sun filters develops into the perfect treat, anytime of the day. Contains UVA/UVB sun filters. The almond/coconut scent is glorious! I keep this in my nightstand and apply both the hand cream and lip treatment before bed. TATCHA Indigo Smoothing Silk Hand Cream ($38) - Rich in anti-inflammatory Indigo, liquid Silk and Squalane, TATCHA’s INDIGO Soothing Silk Hand Cream softens and soothes irritated skin. Especially good for sensitive skin, dermatitis, eczema and rosacea.
