As a member of the Beauty Spotlight Team, it’s my turn to tell you about the products I use over and over again and have repurchased multiple times. Being a beauty blogger I get to test lots of different products so you know if I repurchase them, that are effective and worth the moolah I put down on them. Since I love variety in my makeup looks, you won’t find too many makeup products because I change them up so often. However, there are a few staples I use again and again or keep coming back to.
Pixi Beauty Glow Tonic ($29-8.5 fl oz) – I have repurchased this so many times, I’ve lost count. It firms, tones and tightens skin for a more youthful appearance. It contains 5% glycolic acid which is where the exfoliating properties factor in. Glycolic acid is beneficial for both acne and aging. Glycolic acid dissolves dead skin cells and speeds up the turnover of cells thereby unclogging pores and smoothing the skins’ texture. Removing dead skin cells creates healthier looking, glowing skin! Don’t be scared, though, it doesn’t sting or cause irritation at all.
Great for over 40 skin and can be found at Target! Read my full review here.
Bioderma Sensibio H2O Micellar Water ($20-250ml) – is so popular 1 bottle of the Sensibio H20 formula is sold around the world every two seconds! It’s extremely gentle to the skin and leaves NO residue. My skin feels super clean and hydrated. Micelles are attracted to dirt so when cleansing with a micellar water, your skin gets squeaky clean. I use morning and night and I think I’m on my third bottle. Read my full review here. LOVE this stuff!
Maybelline Lash Sensational ($8) is my current drugstore love. The patented fanning brush with 10 layers of bristles reveals a full flourish of lashes. There is absolutely no flaking, smudging or clumping. The formula is on the wet side which I prefer because it makes separating lashes easy peasy. This mascara also builds volume and length and does not leave my lashes feeling dry.
bareMinerals Ready Blush in The Aphrodisiac ($24)- this is not new, in fact, as you can see from my original pic, it came out in 2012. Aphrodisiac is what I wanted Orgasm to be- a coral pink with a touch of golden sheen–NOT glitter! This is my go-to blush and I’ve repurchased many times!
IT Cosmetics Brow Power Universal Eyebrow Pencil ($24) – Aside for a little bit of testing, I have used nothing else for my brows since I discovered this product. This is a wonderful solution to a real problem. As we get older, our brows as well as our lashes get thinner–doesn’t everything except our behinds? Anyway, your brows really do make a difference and can frame your eyes beautifully. I like Brow PowerTM for several reasons–the packaging is both cute and functional–it has a spoolie on one end to tame those wild hairs and a universal shade of brow marker on the other. It’s very much like a Magic Marker; you simply apply light strokes for lighter hair and press harder for darker hair. Finally, another reason to love IT Cosmetics and Brow PowerTM, is that for every Brow PowerTM sold, IT CosmeticsTM donates one Brow PowerTM pencil to the American Cancer Society’s Look Good, Feel Better program to help women face the effects of cancer with confidence. What could be better than that? Again, I’ve repurchased too many times to count.
Reviva Labs Seaweed Soap ($4) – you’re probably sick of me talking about this, but we ARE talking about the most repurchased so you can’t be mad! Reviva Labs uses a pure vegetable base of palm and coconut oils. The soap has bits of seaweed in it to scrub and exfoliate dry, flaky skin. After rinsing the scrubbers, you are left with smooth, moisturized skin that smells heavenly–it will make your whole bathroom smell great. This is serious exfoliation beauties, so don’t scrub hard. This wonder product is only $4 a bar at Whole Foods! Also available at some Ulta stores and tons of other health food stores. I’m addicted.
What on your list for the most repurchased beauty products?
